Tom Disher has always been passionate about music and sound. Since founding
Disher Music & Sound in 1993, the Emmy award winning composer and
sound designer has produced countless musical compositions and soundtracks
for commercials, documentaries, features, and the interactive realm.
A great believer in the power of creative collaboration with his clients, Tom loves to compose in a wide variety of musical styles. He enjoys blurring the line between music and sound design. His greatest joy is in digging into your project whatever the medium revealing the emotions behind the visuals, adding depth and dimension to your story.
Schooled in classical piano and jazz arranging, then seasoned by several years on the road touring with various bands, Tom self-produced his first recording in 1979. He has been an audio post engineer for over a decade, and still greatly enjoys the process of mixing.
